Largest US banks disclose exposure in Bitcoin via ETF holdings

JMorgan Chase owns approximately $1 million worth of Bitcoin sport ETF shares according to a filling with the SEC on March 31. The filling is simply a snapshot of long positions for the specific date.

Wells Fargo has also disclosed investments in Bitcoin ETFs offered by Grayscale and Proshares with a total value of $143,111.

The total assets held by JPMorgan was $3.7 trillion as of March 2023 making it the largest US Bank. Wells Fargo comes in 3rd place with $1.7 trillion in assets as of June 2023.
