New filling by Grayscale provides details on their planned Bitcoin Mini Trust. The fund will be listed under the ticker BTC and charge a fee rate of 0.15%. This will make it the cheapest in the industry, slightly lower than Franklin Templeton's EZBTC 0.19% fee.
The new ETF was conceived to offer GBTC investors a lower fee option. Since the approval of the ETFs in January, Grayscale has seen it's Bitcoin holdings reduced in half.
Grayscale plans to contribute 63,204 Bitcoins towards the fund's initial distribution which accounts for 20.7% of the coins held by GBTC. The two funds will trade independently and share no exposure.
