The CEOs of Tether and Telegram announced at Token 2049 in Dubai that USDT will launch on TON network and the Telegram wallet. The move is part of Tether's strategy to attract non-crypto users enter the space for the first time.
TON blockchain was originally developed by Telegram but has since continued running independently. In recent months the privacy messaging app has integrated TON's native token into it's Ad buy and revenue sharing programs.
